Sports School Invitation Tournament for HKSS C boys

This time Shah was not to be denied.
He shoots pass a static SKSS defence and
drilled a solid grounder to the bottom right corner.
HKSS 3 SKSS 0 at half time.
HKSS continued to press for the ball in the second half but
SKSS was also desperate to get back into the game.
HKSS had to survive a penalty appeal and long range shot rebounding from the crossbar.
HKSS showed great mental toughness by breaking free and
converting a late 4th goal from a counterattack move.
Hirzee was the scorer.
He dummied the SKSS defenders to the left and stroke home with his weaker right foot.
Final score : HKSS 4 SKSS 0.

His early cross from the left was headed home by Hairyl on the 3rd minute of the first half.

Daniel drilled in a beautiful floating ball.
Jie Shen went into the 6 yard box a fraction of a second too early and headed the ball over.

Raihan retained possession for HKSS and looked up early for a useful forward pass.

Now Daniel had to be on his toes to slow down SKSS's attack.

Shah was extremely hard working during this game.

When HKSS had the ball, it was played forward quickly with few touches to the front.

HKSS pressed early and didn't allow SKSS to settle down.

Raihan is getting more mature and responsible by the games.

Farihin had a good tournament so far.

His partnership with Aidil looked promising.
With him and Aidil anchoring the middle,
Hirzee had more freedom to roam forward to join in the attack.
He scored 2 goals against MSL but picked up a silly yellow card for obstructing a MSL freekick.

It was a good turn-around after playing poorly against ISA.
Senior players did not stick to game plan and changed the formation during the ISA game.
HKSS responded by sticking together and sticking to the game plan for this game.
It was a comfortable win against MSL but the psychological boost was tremendous.
HKSS now knows that sticking to the game plan gives everyone confidence.

The players had their batteries recharged and looking forward to games again.

Adryan and Raihan played their best but struggled to keep pace with ISA.

Muzakir seldom complained about physical challenges.

But when he is down and stayed down, it's not a good sign.
In fact, the flying elbow was so powerful that it knocked one of his tooth off.

Amazingly, no cards were given.

Credit to Muzakir, he carried on on and completed the game with the right attitude.

The first goal conceded was actually a foul on the HKSS keeper

that non of the officials spotted.

HKSS were clearly rattled and struggled to keep pace for this game.

They had a 15 year old local player amongst them and the rest looked big.
Much bigger than the usual 14 year old boys.

Ciko was not 100% fit but gave his best during the second half.

He was more involved in covering Daniel and learned a lot.
