B Boys National Champion 2012

The starting-11 for B Boys who made history.

It was an extremely tough game.

Many players were out during the game due to cramps and injury.

The game ended in stalemate 0-0 after 90 minutes (regulation time & extra time).

Then, it was down to penalties.

Seng Kang missed the first 2 penalties and

Hong Kah converted first 3 penalties in a row to go 3-0 up for the night.

Needing just one more successful penalty to seal the win,

Hong Kah uncharacteristically missed the reamining 2 penalties.

Seng Kang held its nerve and converted the remaining 3 penalties

to make the score 3-3.

What drama !

Then, came the dreaded sudden death penalty.

Up step Seng Kang for the 6th penalty.

Hong Kah keeper Hamzah made the right guess and saved the penalty !

What an incredible save !!

It was down to Hong Kah's 6th penalty taker Raihan to make history for the team.

Raihan kept his cool and knocked the ball firmly beyond the Seng Kang keeper.

Suddenly all the tensions were gone,

to be replaced by sheer joy and spontaneous celebration.

Most of the boys had tears in their eyes.

Tears that flowed freely.
